Today I drove down into Georgia and went to Ft. Pulaski National Monument, which is a Civil War era masonry fort on the way to Tybee Island. I took about 48 photos, but I'll post them sometime later. Upon doing some research I have found out that I have about 8 state parks within less than a two hour drive from my house. Today I took myself to one of the closets ones about 30 miles from my house. This park was Rivers' Bridge State Historic Site, which was the site a Civil War battle, one of the last Confederate stands against General Sherman' ( Read more... )
